STELLA MCCARTNEY PARTNERS WITH LUXURY GROUP LVMH IN EFFORT TO BOOST BRAND

Stella McCartney has announced a partnership with luxury team LVMH in a bid to make bigger the global profile of her eponymous fashion brand.
According to a statement released on the LVMH website, the principal purpose of the partnership is to increase the label’s “worldwide development in phrases of business and strategy”, while also making sure that it continues to promote “sustainable and moral luxury fashion”.
The British trend designer will hold majority ownership of the Stella McCartney brand, while also preserving her positions as its innovative director and ambassador.

The trend fashion designer brought that she had been impressed by way of the “passion and commitment” expressed through Bernard Arnault, chairman and CEO of LVMH, and his son Antoine, CEO of menswear company Berluti.

In May, Rihanna launched her debut trend label Fenty under LVMH, making her the first black lady to lead a manufacturer underneath the prestigious luxury group.
