Nirbhaya Case: Delhi HC to Pronounce Tomorrow Order on Centre’s Plea Challenging Stay on Execution
The legislature had moved the high court after a Delhi preliminary inconclusively deferred the execution of their execution order after the prisoners looked for a stay on their balancing booked for 6 am on February 1.
New Delhi: The Delhi High Court will articulate on Wednesday its request on the Center’s supplication testing the stay on the execution of four death-row convicts in the Nirbhaya assault and murder case.
The 23-year-old physiotherapy understudy, who came to be known as ‘Nirbhaya’ (brave), was gang-raped and viciously attacked the evening of December 16, 2012, in a moving transport in South Delhi. She kicked the bucket of her wounds a fortnight later in a Singapore clinic.
Equity Suresh Kumar Kait had on February 2 held a request on the Center’s supplication subsequent to holding uncommon hearings on Saturday and Sunday.
