India’s COVID vaccine: Phase-3 trial of Covaxin to soon begin in UP’s Lucknow


The Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR) is teaming up with Bharat Biotech for the advancement of the COVAXIN.
The Uttar Pradesh government on Thursday reported that stage 3 preliminary of the COVID antibody ‘COVAXIN’ will begin in Lucknow and Gorakhpur from October.
“The stage 3 preliminary of COVAXIN being created by Bharat Biotech will begin in Lucknow and Gorakhpur from October,” said Uttar Pradesh Principal Health Secretary Amit Mohan Prasad here in a question and answer session.
The Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR) is teaming up with Bharat Biotech for the improvement of the COVAXIN.
In the interim, Congress pioneer Deepak Singh on Thursday composed a letter to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and mentioned to expand testing for COVID-19 in Uttar Pradesh.
As per the Union Health Ministry as of Thursday, there are 61,698 dynamic cases in the state with 3,02,689 recuperated individuals and 5,299 passings.
