Indian designers show their support for wildlife at The Animal Ball 2019

2019 saw famed Indian designers like Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Anita Dongre and Gaurav Gupta taking part in the annual charity event.
The Animal Ball celebrates the most endangered wildlife on the planet—and this year, the fundraising match used to be held on June 19 in London. An initiative by way of the Elephant Family (which pursuits to defend Asian elephants and their herbal habitat), the annual charity ball saw 24 iconic trend homes and labels like Prada, Chloé, Missoni, Kenzo, Philip Treacy among others participate to elevate focus for animal conservation. Representing India are couturiers Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Anita Dongre and Gaurav Gupta, who have each designed animal-themed masks that had been worn through the company attending The Animal Ball 2019.
Hosted by using The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, The Animal Ball 2019 took location at The Royal Residence in London, and saw The Prince and The Duchess put on masks designed via Mukherjee. For his mask, the clothier borrowed inspiration from his preferred animal, the Royal Bengal Tiger—which also takes place to be his label’s logo.
