Sr Dir Regional Cluster Head – 2163

Key deliverables of the position:
Lead the team of specialists for the respective categories for buying consolidation, Strategic advantage, negotiations and timely delivery.
Align with stakeholders and deliver the strategy implementation.
Work closely with procurement categories to achieve assigned medium and long term procurement strategy and value
Vendor development for the select categories to deliver long term strategic advantage in close coordination with the user departments
Lead / participate in the Cross Functional Teams to drive wide consensus and new ideas in line with the category strategic road map
Define cost reduction target for categories through strategic procurement and deliver year on year.
Project Management of agreed short, medium and long term plans.
Carry out spend analytics for the procurement area and thus arrive at potential opportunities and action plans.
Ensure compliance to company policy and procedures and help build / improve the control environment.
Qualifications :
B. Tech (Chemical Engineering) or M. Sc. (Chemistry) or equivalent degree
Degree / Programme in General Management, Materials Management is preferable
