New York’s New Abortion Laws – A 16-Year-Old’s Perspective

We shudder at the new Abortion regulation passed in New York on January 22, 2019, the 46th anniversary of Roe v. Wade. two The new regulation is known as the “Reproductive Health Act,” although it has nothing to do with health care. It represents one of the most wicked and egregious assaults on humanity in American history.
We replicate with horror when we remember the German awareness camps where 6 million Jews, Gypsies, and other “undesirables” were killed via Nazis in World War II—an unthinkable chapter in history. But, here in America? We claim to be one nation below God, yet we have slaughtered greater than 60 million of our very own “undesirable” babies to date. That’s 10 instances the number beneath Hitler, and now we have multiplied the abortionists’ chance to the very transport table itself.
What has changed in our nation? Let’s hear to the voice of one 16-year-old student’s Argumentative English paper.
What we trust about our origins determines our worldview. We can talk to the mind as much as we want, but the heart cannot be reached through evidence. So, my purpose is not to appear at proof of introduction versus evolution and attempt to prove to you that creation is the proper account of the commencing of the earth. Instead, I choose to ask questions that every human faces at some factor in their life and let you figure out which perspective brings peace, love, and life. First, where did we come from? According to an evolutionist, the whole lot if truth be told came from nothing. They like to phrase it a little bit differently, for instance, “we came from monkeys which got here from protoplasm which got here from a tiny speck.” Some reply with, “Oh that makes sense; I can see the resemblance.” And just like that God does not exist. Knowing that we came from nothing leads into my subsequent question: why are we here?
Everything we do right here on earth we do for a purpose. We exercise in order to get in higher shape; we cook dinner foods so that we can eat; we go to faculty for the motive of learning. If we are getting to know in school that we are just protoplasm that came from nothing and slowly advanced into a monkey subsequently turning into an tremendously complicated human being, then what is the purpose of living? Knowing that the following day there will just be extra ache and heartache, why wake up? My point is that the thoughts of evolution do so lots greater than just teach a baby the place we got here from. It will become their pair of glasses thru which they see the world. There is nothing to fear in loss of life because we will just be buried and forgotten. Sounds to me like a lot of loss of life and hopelessness.
Let us seem at the Christian perspective. Where did we come from? We were created by means of the voice and arms of God almighty. Our tiny yet complicated brains can’t grasp the concept of a God who was once and who is and who will continually be because we have finite minds. Most human beings stop listening proper there because they believe that is absurd and crazy—“why would I trust something I do not understand?”; but the reality that we can’t understand is what is so believable!
