Ellu Holige : Sweet flatbread made with Sesame| Til Poli from Udupi

Ellu Holige is a sweet flatbread made with Sesame, jaggery filling stuffed in a Maida flatbread. It is another variation of the Puran Poli where the stuffing is ordinarily chana dal.

Fixings :-
For the Outer Layer
1 cup Semolina/Rava
1/4 cup All Purpose Flour/Maida
A Pinch Turmeric powder
2 tsp Ghee
A Pinch Salt
Water as required
For the Filling
3/4 cup Sesame/Til/Ellu
3/4 cup Jaggery
1/2 cup Coconut
A Pinch Cardamoms
Guidelines :-
For the Outer Layer
Take every one of the fixings required for the external layer and massage to a delicate batter.
Keep it aside with a moist fabric secured.
For the Filling
Dry dish the until till all around broiled.
Dissolve the jaggery and expel scrum. Include ground coconut and make a glue.
Granulate the until to a powder, add this to the coconut blend. Join everything admirably.
Make little balls.
Amassing the Poli
Gap the mixture into equivalent balls.
Stuff this with the filling and cook on a hot tawa on the two sides with oil/ghee.
