Tyson Fury splits with trainer two months before Deontay Wilder bout
Ben Davison and Tyson Fury have cooperated since 2017 and Fury said in an Instagram post that he would work with Javan ‘Sugar’ Hill for the Deontay Wilder session.
English fighter Tyson Fury has part with coach Ben Davison and collaborated with Javan ‘Sugar’ Hill two months before his February rematch with WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder.
Davison reacted to media reports that the pair were going separate ways on Twitter on Sunday.
“Clearly it’s not going to stop until there’s an answer,” Davison said.
“Tyson and myself needed to both settle on choices for our vocations, which brought about our working relationship reaching a conclusion. We remain companions and he will crush the dosser (Wilder).”
Davison and Fury have cooperated since 2017 and Fury said in an Instagram post that he would work with Javan ‘Sugar’ Hill for the Wilder session.
Slope is the nephew of the late Emmanuel Steward, who prepared the 31-year-old Fury before.
Fierceness posted an image of himself and Steward on Instagram, alongside Hill and previous title holders Andy Lee, with the subtitle “Recovering the old group ready for action.”
Rage and Wilder will confront each other in their profoundly foreseen rematch in Las Vegas on Feb. 22.
