A day after the Delhi High Court refused former Union finance minister P Chidambaram to furnish any safety from arrest in the INX Media case, CBI and Enforcement Directorate (ED) are on the lookout for the Congress leader, who continues to stay untraceable.
The CBI had on Tuesday issued a word to Chidambaram asking him to show up earlier than the investigation officer “within two hours”, following which a team of ED officials additionally reached his residence to arrest him, but failed. Chidambaram’s lawyer, meanwhile, has requested the probe organizations not to take any action until a listening to at the Supreme Court.
